Open Protocol Labs is a true Web3 company. It invents low-level, open protocols built on Bitcoin and makes them free for anyone to use. It also builds and maintains the applications that teach people how to put those protocols to work, among them Sigma Identity, BitChat, Jamify, Minerva, and the 1Sat Browser.

The company's focus is the bit in bitcoin: the data that already belongs to people, and the tools to prove it. Identity becomes something a person holds and carries between apps, portable and outside any single platform's control. Chat and social activity live in the open, private by default and hard to erase after the fact. Claims about what happened come with a receipt, signed, timestamped, and traceable to its source on-chain, that anyone can check for themselves.
